A round-up of what has changed in the JoltMile iPhone app over the last few weeks.

New

  • Start and end shifts straight from the app, with live tracking that records your time and miles as you go.
  • Sign in with Apple or Google.
  • A Live Activity and lock screen widget, so you can start and end a shift without opening the app.
  • A setup flow with clear steps, plus a practice shift tour that lets you try the app without saving any test data.
  • The Today screen now opens on your current shift.
  • The Expenses tab is now called Money, so costs and other income sit in one place.
  • The message box grows as you type, up to five lines, with a 500 character limit.

Fixed

  • Discarded unfinished shifts no longer come back after you delete them.
  • Discarding an unfinished shift now asks you to confirm first, so a stray tap cannot lose a whole shift.
  • End of shift miles save straight away, even when your signal is weak.
  • Screens fit smaller phones properly, and typing no longer jumps the page to the top.
  • Tax deductions and PAYE figures now save correctly.
  • Earnings show under the right month, and deleting an expense works as it should.
  • The subscription screen no longer crashes when you open it.

Version 1.1

Version 1.1 is on the App Store. It has a fresh tab bar and a prompt to rate the app.
