A round-up of what has changed in the JoltMile Android app since it launched.

New

  • Mileage tracking on Android, matching the iPhone app, so your trips are logged the same way on either phone.
  • Start and end shifts from an ongoing notification or the home screen widget.
  • Sign in with Google.
  • A setup flow with clear steps and a progress bar, plus a practice shift tour that lets you try the app without saving any test data.

Fixed

  • Google sign in now works on all Android phones.
  • A blank gap no longer appears above the keyboard when you type.
  • The message about Android tracking now says the right thing.
  • Discarded unfinished shifts no longer come back after you delete them.
  • Discarding an unfinished shift now asks you to confirm first.
  • End of shift miles save straight away, even when your signal is weak.

Update JoltMile from the Play Store to get all of this.
