Tracking miles on Android

The Android app now matches the iPhone app for mileage tracking. Your trips log the same way whichever phone you carry.

You can start and end shifts straight from an ongoing notification or the home screen widget. You do not need to open the main app window every time you head out.

What changed in the update

  • Start and end shifts from your notification bar or home screen widget.
  • Sign in using your Google account.
  • Follow a setup flow with a progress bar when you first open the app.
  • Take a practice shift tour to try out features without saving test data.

Fixes and improvements

  • Google sign in now works across all Android device models.
  • The blank gap that used to sit above the keyboard when typing has gone.
  • Discarding an unfinished shift now asks you to confirm first so you do not lose work by accident, and deleted shifts stay deleted.
  • End of shift miles save straight away, even if your phone has a weak signal.
