What happens if I reject too many Deliveroo orders?
Rejecting Deliveroo orders does not lead to deactivation, because riders are self-employed and free to decline work.
Last checked 17/10/2026.
Nothing happens to your account if you reject too many Deliveroo orders. Deliveroo riders are self-employed, which means you have the right to accept or decline any offer presented to you without penalty.
Why orders get rejected
Drivers regularly turn down offers that do not cover costs or involve unreasonable travel distances. Declining low-fee work is a normal part of running a delivery business. Deliveroo does not use an acceptance rate score to deactivate riders.
- You will not get banned for rejecting low offers.
- Your priority status does not drop purely from turning down orders.
- You can log off whenever you want.
