Are tips taxable for delivery drivers?
Yes. Tips are taxable income whether they come through the app or in cash.

Yes. Tips are part of your self-employed income and go into your turnover, whether the customer added them in the app or handed you cash at the door.
App tips appear on your platform statement, so they are easy to account for. Cash tips are on you to record, and HMRC expects them to be included.
JoltMile asks for base earnings including tips as a single figure, which is what your return needs. There is no separate tips box to forget to fill in.
