You can add a new vehicle to your Stuart account by messaging support through your courier app and uploading your updated paperwork. Stuart needs to check your details before you switch from a bicycle to a car or scooter, or the other way round.

  1. Open your Stuart courier app and go to the help or support section.
  2. Start a chat with the support team to let them know you are changing your vehicle.
  3. Take clear photos of your new documents, such as your driving licence, MOT certificate, and correct hire and reward insurance.
  4. Wait for confirmation from Stuart that your profile has been updated before you start working with the new vehicle.

Document checks usually take a few days, but it can take longer during busy periods. Make sure your photos are not blurry and all expiry dates are easy to read to avoid delays.

Can I deliver on an electric scooter?

Not a stand-up e-scooter. Privately owned e-scooters cannot legally be ridden on UK roads, and Deliveroo says you cannot use one. A moped-style scooter with a licence and insurance is different.
