Setup flow and practice shift tour
Learn how the JoltMile setup flow guides you through the app with clear steps, and how the practice shift tour lets you test features safely.

What the setup flow does
When you first open JoltMile on your phone, a setup flow guides you through the basic settings. It uses clear steps and a progress bar so you always know how far through you are.
This helps you get your vehicle type, earnings profile, and basic preferences sorted before you start logging real work. You can move through the screens at your own pace.
Trying the practice shift tour
The setup includes a practice shift tour. This lets you tap around and see how tracking works in the real world without recording any permanent data to your account.
- Test starting and ending a shift
- See how time and miles are recorded
- Explore the screen layout without risk
Nothing you do during the practice tour is saved as test data, so your actual earnings and shift log stay completely clean for your first real day on the road.
