Can I run two delivery apps at the same time?
Usually yes, and most platforms accept it. The practical limits are accepting a job you cannot get to on time and how you log the mileage.

Usually yes. Self-employment means you are not required to be exclusive, and most platforms accept that riders and drivers run more than one app.
The real limits are practical. Accepting a job on one app while committed to another is how you end up late on both, and a run of late deliveries hurts your standing on each platform independently.
It is worth checking the terms for anything you have signed that involves a guaranteed block or a scheduled shift. Some parcel work is booked in a way that assumes you are available for the whole slot.
For logging, a run where you carried jobs from two apps is one period of driving. Log it under whichever platform paid most of it, or split it into two shifts if the periods were genuinely distinct. What matters is that the miles are counted once and the hours are not double-counted.

When each app pays you, and why the date matters for tax
Most apps pay weekly, on different days, with a fee to get it sooner. Evri pays monthly. The pay date decides how much cash you need in reserve and, at the start and end of the year, which tax year the money falls in.

What the platforms tell HMRC about your earnings
Since 2024 every delivery and ride app has to collect your tax details and report what it paid you to HMRC once a year. There is no minimum for services. Here is what is reported, when, why it will not match your return, and what to do with the copy you are sent.
