Delete your JoltMile account

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This is how to delete your account in JoltMile, the mileage, expenses and tax app for UK delivery drivers, run by Reeksac. You can do it yourself in a minute, and you don't need the app installed to do it.

In the app

  1. Open JoltMile and go to the More tab.
  2. Tap your name at the top to open Account.
  3. Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
  4. Confirm twice, then sign in once more so we know it's you. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

On joltmile.com

  1. Sign in with the same email, Apple or Google sign-in you use in the app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Under Delete account, tap Delete my account, confirm twice and sign in once more.

By email

If you can't sign in, email support@joltmile.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll check the request came from you, delete the account and reply to confirm, within a month at the latest and usually within a few days.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the app. Apple or Google bills it, so cancel it there: on an iPhone in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions; on Android in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions.

What is deleted straight away

Your login and everything in your account: every shift, mileage record and postcode, every expense and receipt photo, other income, saved places, settings and preferences, and which partner code you joined with, if any. It can't be undone, so download a copy first if you want one: in the app under More, then Your data, or on the website under Backup and export.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Backups - your records drop out of our routine backups within 30 days.
  • Payment records - kept for six years after the tax year they fall in, because UK tax law requires it. This includes the commission records for a partner, if you joined through one, with your account id taken off them. Apple and Google keep their own records of payments made through them.
  • RevenueCat - the service that tells us which app subscriptions are active deletes its record of you too. If a subscription is still running when you delete, it keeps that record until the subscription ends, so the store can still end it properly.
  • Messages you sent us - kept for up to 12 months so we can follow up on an issue.
  • Emails we sent you - our email provider keeps a delivery log of them.
